Bamboo Chair from the 1950s designed and crafted by Crafted by Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet.

This chair that was sourced in Geneva Switzerland has been given new upholstery in olive wool, adding a touch of contemporary elegance to its already remarkable design.

Its construction combines bamboo and intricately woven hemp rope, showcasing elegance and style. Originating from 1950s France.

Audoux-Minet specialized in creating sophisticated furniture for gardens, patios, and living rooms. Their skillful use of high-quality materials like rattan, bamboo, and raffia rope set them apart during the prosperous decades of the 1940s and 1950s.

Renowned for their innovative approach, Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet catered to an affluent clientele along the picturesque French Riviera (Côte d’Azur). Initially based in Cannes, they later relocated their workshop to Golf-Juan in the Maritime Alps in 1942.
