Danish furniture designer/maker Poul Hundevad trained as a carpenter before establishing his own cabinetmaking shop and furniture factory, Hundevad & Co., at the beginning of the 1950s in his hometown of Vamdrup. The company produced many of the founder’s own designs, alongside the designs of other Danish designers including Carlo Jensen.
All items of this age will show some signs of use commensurate with their age. For this reason, we never grade any furniture as ‘excellent’. This item is in good vintage condition.
